If you run spyware and anti-virus scans, what are the results? Do you have all the latest Windows updates? I try running ad aware and it just shuts down in the middle of it. I also have Mcafee. I have tried running these in safe mode and it still shuts down. Which computer model? Are any of the indicator lights on the back of the computer green or yellow when the computer is running and also when the shutdown occurs?
